My Group

For project one, creating a commercial, I decided to work with my brother, Kyle. He is in the same class period. Also, it will be easy to work with him as I already know him well. There is no-one else in our group because neither of us know anyone else in the class. I'm excited to see how filming a commercial turns out to be!

  Camera Angles and Movements: In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom there are various shots used. Some of which are extreme long shots, close up shots, and high angle shots. The extreme long shot was used to show the effects of the volcanic lava on the dinosaur’s and people in the film.     Camera Angles and Movements: Close ups/Extreme Close Ups on technological elements. This is done to highlight the dependence on technology in the time period the film takes place in. Establishing shots on large or small sections of the cityscape, again done to showcase the widespread use of technology. Low Angle shots, most often used to empower certain characters in positions of authority. Mis-En-Scene: Costumes often exhibit urban and technological influences, and could potentially feature high-tech modifications to an actor's body. The lighting is generally reduced to convey a general sense of disrepair or gloominess, or just a general impression of dark situations. Introducing Myself

 Hello, my name is Kaden. This year I'm a junior in high school. I decided to take this course for its uniqueness. No other course I know of has students film or study media. I also heard positive things from friends who took it previously. I enjoy playing video games and Dungeons and Dragons. My favorite movie is The Guardians of the Galaxy, because it balances comedy, action and entertainment. I would consider myself introverted, but I'm still excited to take this course.
