Beginning to Film

Today the group began to film. To do this, a group member's house was used. We were under time pressure and filmed all we could. Although we had to refilm a few scenes, we got everything we wanted to get done. These were all the indoor shots. The group took a short break after they were completed. while reviewing to make sure all film was acceptable, and it turned out some wasn't. There were two scenes with issues. One had lighting issues that proved difficult to fix and made it unusable. It had to be completely scrapped and redone so that the end result would be decent. In the case of the other scene, the acting itself was unsatisfactory. It almost passed as a comedy. The majority of scenes filmed today were in response to other scenes or only a few seconds long. As a result, filming was done out of order. Setup time was also much greater than time spent with the camera rolling. At the end of the day, scenes 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30 were complete. This leaves all those planned to be filmed at Easterlin Park. Filming outside will probably be even more difficult. The group would be dependent on the weather to permit the use of cameras and sunshine for lighting. Despite this, we're confident in our abilities.
